A digital invitation for Malaysia that collects the RSVPs too.
avenly.io is a digital wedding invitation and RSVP tool for couples in Malaysia. Each family gets its own link on WhatsApp, opens a personal invite with the map and programme, and replies for everyone in their party in two taps. On the day, the same link checks them in. It's free for up to 30 guests; Event Premium is a one-time US$15 (about RM61) for the whole wedding.
- WhatsApp first
- English and 中文
- No app for guests or elders
Four steps, all on your phone.
Add your guests
Paste the names from a WhatsApp chat or upload an Excel sheet. AI groups them into families for you to check.
Design the invite
Photos, countdown, map to the venue and the day's programme, in English, 中文 or both.
Each family gets its own link from your own number. Send reminders the same way to anyone who hasn't replied.
Run the day
Helpers scan invites at the door, record gifts and see who has arrived. Guests' photos go up on the big screen.
Open the invite your guests will get.
The real invitation page, for a made-up couple. You're Uncle Robert & Auntie Grace: read it, reply, then walk up to the door with your entry pass.
Replies you don't have to count by hand.
No more scrolling a WhatsApp group to work out who said yes.
Every name, pre-filled
The invite greets the family by name and lists who's invited, so nobody RSVPs for the wrong people.
Totals that add up
Who's coming, adults and children, meals and dietary needs, all counted for you.
Who has seen it
Know which families opened their link, and nudge the ones who haven't.
A plan for the tables
Start from the venue's floor plan, seat families together, then print the plan by table.
For weddings with a big guest list.
Built just across the Causeway, for dinners in hotels, restaurants and halls.
English and 中文
One link shows the invite in English or Simplified Chinese, and guests switch with a tap.
Ang pow at the door
Record each family's gift as they check in, then print the list for each side of the family.
Directions that work
The invite shows the venue on a map and counts down to the day, so out-of-town guests find their way.
Helpers on their own phones
Give relatives the door-scanner role. They scan invites in the browser, no app needed.
Parking sorted
Ask who needs a parking spot in the RSVP, and hand out tickets as they arrive.
Photos from every table
Guests share photos to a live wall on the screen. Afterwards, download them all in one go and share your favourites in a gallery.
What's a good digital wedding invitation with RSVP in Malaysia?
Look for one that gives each family its own link and collects the RSVP on the same page. avenly.io does that over WhatsApp, in English or Chinese, and the same link checks guests in on the day. If you only need a pretty card to share, a simple e-kad is cheaper; if you need RSVPs, meals and seating counted, a tool like avenly.io saves the chasing.
Can I send the invitation on WhatsApp?
Yes. You send each family its own link from your own WhatsApp number, one after another, and the queue keeps your place. Reminders go out the same way to anyone who hasn't replied.
Is the invitation available in Bahasa Melayu?
Not yet. Guests can read the invite in English, Chinese, French or Japanese. You can write your own wording in any language for the parts you design.
Do my parents and older relatives need an app?
No. The invite opens in the phone's browser from the WhatsApp message. There's nothing to download and no account to create.
How much does it cost in ringgit?
avenly.io is free for up to 30 guests. Event Premium is a one-time US$15 (about RM61), paid once by card for that wedding, with no subscription.
Can I record ang pow at the reception?
Yes. At the door, check a family in and record their gift in the same step. Afterwards, print or save the list as a PDF.
Can guests bring a plus-one?
Only if you allow it. Turn plus-ones on for the event and guests can add someone, or leave it off to keep the list to the names you invited.
